Through a generous grant from The John Templeton Foundation, the University of Oxford’s Institute of Cognitive and Evolutionary Anthropology (ICEA) welcomes proposals contributing to a project on Ritual’s Impact on the Contemporary World. ICEA will provide up to 10 subgrants of £15,000 to £40,000 each, to fund projects lasting between 12 to 24 months. These sub-grants are intended not only to fund research projects of limited duration, but also to establish long-term collaborative relationships between international scholars and field sites around the world. For more information about the parameters of the sub-granting project and the evaluation criteria, please refer to the information sheet.
Letters of Intent are due by November 30th 2013.
